Scratchpad (no login)
Scratchpad is the fastest way to try MD Editor. It’s an in-browser editor with live preview that works without signing in.
Open it here: MD Editor Scratchpad (opens in a new tab).
How it works
- Your content is saved locally in your browser (autosave).
- Refreshing the page won’t lose your work, but clearing site data can.
- It’s ideal for quick previews, small drafts, and testing Markdown features.
What Scratchpad is best for
- Preview Markdown instantly (tables, task lists, diagrams, math)
- Try examples/templates quickly
- Export a one-off document
Limitations
- Scratchpad is not a synced workspace document until you save it into your account.
- Collaboration and share links require signing in.
